Island Gateway Film LLC ("IGF") is a production company with offices in Los Angeles, California and Vancouver, Canada and was founded in June of 2005.
As a film company IGF’s goals are to create successful independent movies that are socially and culturally meaningful and are commercially viable. IGF financed and produced its first two feature length films in 2005 and 2006, the award winning edgy comedy TRIPPING FORWARD and the inspirational documentary VERITAS. Basement Jack and Evilution were shot in 2007 under its new horror division BLACK GATE ENTERTAINMENT. Evilution and Basement Jack each won numerous awards at various festivals
IGF also works with filmmakers on a consulting basis to create and implement business strategies for their films including marketing and distribution. These services are offered at any point of production. Distribution has changed unmeasurably over the last few years due to technology. The traditional gatekeepers of the industry are losing their stranglehold. The power now rests in the hands of the filmmakers and IGF has the experience to see this through.
IGF is interested in films of all genres that have an impact on peoples’ lives and are told in a unique fashion.
